As seen on TechCrunch, BlackArrow.tv raised 20 million Dollars in venture capital from their existing stake holders.
Here is what they do in their own words:

Herrlich. Alleine bei dem Titel muss ich schon lachen. exchangeP.com, ein Teilnehmer der TechCrunch50, bietet virtuelle Anteile an Startups. :)) Du meldest dich an, musst dabei deine Handynummer angeben, an die dir eine sms mit Bestätigungscode geschickt wird und erhältst 100 000 virtuelle Dollar zum Start. Keine Ahnung, wo ich diesen sms Bestätigungscode nun eingeben soll. Man wird nicht automatisch dort hin geleitet oder findet einen entsprechenden Menüpunkt. Naja, ich heb ihn mal auf;)

Warum funzt kein Twitter-Klon?
Egal welcher Klon gerade auftaucht, immer wieder liest man den gleichen Grund, warum pownce, identica, plurk oder auch Deutsche Klone nicht so richtig in Fahrt kommen. Weil WIR (bei) Twitter sind. Und wir nicht zu irgendeinem dahergelaufenen "me too" rennen, der nur auf den Zahltag wartet.
