With the CouchTycoon Venture Poster we want to bring back the look and feel of real company shares our grandfathers had

Even though a Venture Poster is not a real company share, it finances a startup and gives its vendee exciting rights. By submitting the unique code on each venture poster a virtual digital share (Asset Slip) will be made out to bearer which can be traded between CouchTycoons on the venture market. It also allows the owner to vote for the venture he thinks that should be funded and to vote at certain venture decisions. Read more about Asset Slips

Venture Posters are issued in limited editions of 200 each for 100 $. For each edition of Venture Posters startups can apply to get financed with the money raised by selling this Venture Poster edition. After an edition is sold out the next edition will be issued to finance another startup. Venture Posters get a title that not necessarily has got something to do with the applying startups. These handmade silkscreen posters are printed on approx. 18' x 24' inch sheets, numbered and signed by the artist and the CouchTycoon. With the sale of 200 Venture Posters one of the great startup ideas will be financed and 5 % of the startup will be acquired by the CouchTycoon community this way. Held in trust for the community members who own a digital share (Asset Slip) of that startup.

Each edition of Venture Posters will be designed by an artist, mostly a member of the 'American Poster Institute', who normally makes gig posters for bands to be sold at their concerts or at Flatstock festivals. See the list of the great silk screen artists who made our Venture Posters.
